Christopher Harrison, P.E. is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York, and has completed Certified Permaculture Designer courses through Green Phoenix Permaculture in High Falls, New York (2011) and Geoff Lawton's Online Course (2014).
His engineering experience includes extensive experience in capital construction projects for the New York City water and wastewater systems, stormwater management design, and the implementation of stormwater pollution prevention programs (SWPPP) on multi-acre site developments. He also has experience in house renovation to include structural modifications and energy efficiency upgrades.
His passion remains the development and management of his 1.3 acre homestead in the Town of Warwick, New York, gradually increasing fertility and yields from the landscape and increasing the energy efficiency of his house through the conscious application of permaculture principles. He is dedicated toward sharing the benefits of his experience and insights to help others improve their lives and communities.
